Refund policy

At Men’s Wig Gallery, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy outlines your rights under Australian Consumer Law, as well as how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.
⬡ Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
As a customer in Australia, you are entitled to certain guarantees when purchasing goods and services. These include:
Goods must be of acceptable quality, meaning they are safe, durable, free from defects, and do what they’re meant to do.
Goods must match the description provided (including images and specifications).
Services must be provided with due care and skill.
If a product you’ve purchased from us has a major fault or defect, you have the right to choose a refund, replacement, or repair. If the fault is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the item.
A major fault is when a product:
- Has a serious defect that would have stopped you buying it if known
- Is unsafe
- Is significantly different from its description or images
- Cannot be repaired easily or within a reasonable time
These rights apply regardless of any warranty offered by the manufacturer or Men’s Wig Gallery.
⬡ Change of Mind Returns
We understand choosing a hair system is a considered decision. While Australian law does not require us to provide a refund or exchange for change of mind, we do offer this as a goodwill policy, subject to the following conditions:
You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
The item must be unused, and in its original condition and packaging (including tags, hygiene seals, and accessories).
For hygiene and safety reasons, wigs and hair systems cannot be returned once opened, worn, altered, or tried on, unless they are faulty or not as described.
You will be responsible for return shipping costs.

⬡ Faulty or Damaged Products
If your item is faulty, arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll organise a repair, replacement, or refund in line with your consumer rights.
To report a fault, email: info@menswiggallery.com.au as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue. delivery, including:
- Your name and order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos (if applicable)
Once assessed, we’ll let you know the next steps. If a return is required, we’ll cover postage for faulty or incorrect items.
⬡ Refunds
If approved for a refund:
We’ll process it to your original payment method within 3 - 7 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation once the refund has been issued. Refund times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. Original shipping fees are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
⬡ Return Shipping Details
For approved returns, we’ll provide instructions on where and how to send your item.
Unless the item is faulty or not as described, you are responsible for return postage costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping your receipt.
⬡ Items Not Eligible for Return
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for the following, unless the item is faulty or not as described:
- Opened or used wigs, hairpieces, or any items where the hygiene seal is broken
- Gift cards
- Final sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
